I went through all of my stats from this year and added up the totals. According to my records I have sent a total of 1,038 piece of mail this year. That is extremely intense. I don't even want to think about how much money that is in postage!
This is the stack of envelopes I sent out yesterday with my newsletter in them for my pen-pals and friends. A re-cap of 2011, if you will.
Once people start to receive them in the mail next week I'll post an internet version of the newsletter.
I didn't do a great job of calculating my incoming stats this year but regardless I want to say a final thank you to everyone that contributed to that lovely and large number. I enjoyed exchanging mail with so many people this year and I'm thrilled to keep it up.

How do you keep track?
Do you use a manual or electronic system to track your mail?
Manual. I just put tally marks on my calendar in different categories (postcards, envelopes, packages) as I walk out the door to put it in the mail box.
